Do you need help with the cost of coming to our annual conference?
The Centre has a Conference Scholarship Program.
Conference Scholarships help with the cost of coming to the Conference including the cost of registration, travel and accommodation.
If you are a person with intellectual disability, or a family member or supporter of a person with intellectual disability, you are eligible to apply for a Conference Scholarship.
There are two types of Conference Scholarships available.
- Registration Scholarship – this is a free or discounted ticket to the conference.
- Travel and Accommodation Scholarship – this is help with the cost of travel including airfare, taxis, public transport and hotels.
The Centre will work with Conference Partners to support as many scholarship applications as possible. Priority will be given to applications from
- People with intellectual disability, who are experiencing financial difficulty.
- First Nations people with intellectual disability.
- People with intellectual disability who live in regional and remote areas.
- People with intellectual disability, with complex communication needs.
- People with intellectual disability from diverse backgrounds.
- Family members and support people providing direct support to a person with intellectual disability at the Conference.
