What will happen after I share my story

Julia from our Community Engagement Team will contact you.

Julia will ask you about your story and if you are happy for us to share it.

She will talk about the different ways we can share your story.

We might need to edit your story. Edit means we might make things shorter or check things like spelling.

Sometimes we publish stories on our websites. Publish means we will put your story on our website or social media pages. We always get your permission first.

If we publish your story, you will get a gift card to say thank you.

Julia will also ask if you want to stay in touch with the Centre.

Staying in touch with the Centre means you can be part of things like:

  • storytelling
  • focus groups or workshops
  • advocacy
  • research
  • media.
You can choose if you would like to be stay in touch. You do not have to if you do not want to.
