The Knowledge Exchange Hub will be an online space that offers people the chance to connect, communicate and access what they need to improve health in the lives of people with an intellectual disability.
The Hub is being co-designed by people with intellectual disability, families, supporters, health and disability professionals, researchers and advocates.
Through our co-design process, we will develop an understanding of what accessible knowledge exchange involves, and identify digital solutions that address the diverse needs of users.
First Nations consultation and co-design
Online spaces must be meaningful and helpful for First Nations people. As part of the co design process, we will work with the Centre’s First Nations Team to facilitate community consultations to ensure cultural safety is central to the design of the Hub.
Project team
The Knowledge Exchange Hub (KEH) team is Patsie Frawley, Jen Xiang, Grace Sharkey, and the KEH Advisory Group.
We work closely with the Centre’s First Nations Team. We are also collaborating other experts in the field, including Ariella Meltzer from the Centre for Social Impact and Scott Brown from UNSW Arts, Design and Architecture.
