Resources and education

We help people and organisations share information, resources, training, and ideas to improve health experiences and health care for people with intellectual disability. 

Our priorities include

  • Leading collaboration among existing intellectual disability health centres, services, researchers and advocacy bodies
     
  • Providing training and education
     
  • Developing a Knowledge Exchange Hub, an online space where people can share information, resources and ideas that can improve opportunities for people with intellectual disability to have healthy lives
     
  • Identifying existing resources that exist that support improved health for people with intellectual disability
     
  • Developing new resources to support people with intellectual disability access good quality health care
     
  • Providing webinars, podcasts, and other professional development opportunities

We also host a national conference every year.
