The National Network of People and Families is a group of people with intellectual disability, their families and carers.
The purpose of the group is to support two-way learning. This means we can share information from the Centre and ask for input and advice.
We can also listen to issues people have with health care and share ideas about how we can make things better.
We will be hosting online meetings for this group later this year.
The meetings will be an opportunity to:
- Share what health care is like in your community
- Meet other people with intellectual disability, other families, and other carers from around Australia
- Learn about what the Centre is doing and how you can be involved.
If you want more information or would like to be involved, fill out the form below or email julia.hawkins@unsw.edu.au
