Our Health Space

Our Health Space is a resource hub for:

• people with intellectual disability
• families
• carers
• support workers
• health professionals.

The Centre got funding from the Department of Health and Aged Care to make Our Health Space.

Co-design

Our Health Space was co-designed by people with different skills and stories. Co-design is creating something together with the people who will use it. Our Health was co-designed with people such as people with intellectual disability, health professionals, and people who support and care for people with intellectual disability.
 

Resources

Our Health Space will have resources such as:

• courses
• how-to guides
• tools
• e-books.

About a range of topics relating to intellectual disability health.

The resources will be accessible, with options to watch, listen to, or look at Easy Read versions of the resource.
 

Opportunities

There will also be opportunities to:

• Find community groups and events
• Find a research study to join
• Share stories

Our Health Space will be available in June 2026.
