I’m Chris, and I’m a member of the Centre’s International Advisory Committee.
I'm a professor of social care at Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. I’ve been involved in research with people with intellectual disabilities for more than 30 years. This has involved a lot of different research projects, with the aim of shining a light on the inequalities that people with intellectual disabilities face, understanding why these inequalities happen, and working with others to tackle them.
