I’m David, and I’m a member of the Centre’s International Advisory Committee.
I’m a forensic psychiatrist with Health New Zealand, and I work in the Intellectual Disability and Forensic Services in both inpatient and community settings. I have a special interest assisting Autistic people with other issues, such as intellectual disability, offending, and mental health concerns.
I trained at the University of Otago and I’m a fellow member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and currently a member of the RANZCP Section of Psychiatry of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities bi-national committee and chair NZ section branch.
