I’m Jess, and I’m on the Centre’s Council.
I’m a rehabilitation doctor with the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. I’m also the chair of their Disability Governance Committee.
I help educate health care professionals to provide more inclusive services to people with intellectual disability. I also work with Adelaide University to make sure trainee doctors learn about inclusive practices.
I co-founded the Adelaide Disability Medical Services because there was an unmet need for people with disability in my community.
I understand the Australia health care system and have lots of ideas about how it can be improved for people with intellectual disability.
