Best practice in leading system capacity
We know that people with intellectual disability don’t always get high quality health care.
A lot of people have researched ways to help healthcare workers provide better health care to people with intellectual disability.
This project looks at all the work that has been done and whether it has been evaluated. It will help us design our program of work to build the capacity of health services.
The main outcome of this project will be a report which describes all the information we find about the best capacity-building approaches that people have tried.
The report will tell people:
- What research we looked at
- How we found it
- What approaches of building capacity exist
- Whether people checked to see if they worked
- How people checked to see if they worked
- And if they worked, did they work well?
