Clinical trials are when researchers test new medicines, tests, surgeries, programs, and education directly with people.
Clinical trials are a big part of health and medical research in Australia.
It is important that people with intellectual disability have access to clinical trials.
This project will look at the eligibility criteria of recent clinical trials in Australia to understand how people with intellectual disability are directly or indirectly excluded from clinical trials.
A final report and Easy Read version of the report will be available when this project is finished.
