National leadership and advocacy

The Centre brings together people and organisations who want better health care for people with intellectual disability.

Together we:

  • share knowledge
  • identify national priority issues in intellectual disability health
  • raise awareness of the health needs of people with intellectual disability
  • advocate for system change in the treatment and health of people with intellectual disability
  • champion and advocate for ways of working that are culturally safe and inclusive.
