Hi, my name is Alanna.

I am a researcher at the Centre.

I work in health research.

I do research into health issues of people with intellectual disabilities. To learn about their experiences with the health system, how it can be improved and what they feel is currently working.

I was also involved in promoting an art competition called Health Matters. Where people with lived experience of intellectual disability enter their artworks showcasing why health matters to them in their artwork.

I enjoy advocating and MC events related to disability health topics. I also have experience in translating complex documents into easy read language.

I’m involved in theatre and love performing in singing, dancing and acting.
