Zhiyuan Wang

Hello, I am Zhiyuan Wang.

I am a Research Analyst at the National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health at UNSW.

In my role, I work with large health datasets to understand how health services are used and where improvements can be made. I help turn complex data into clear insights that support better decision-making.

At the Centre, I work on projects that look at health outcomes and service use for people with intellectual disability. My work helps identify ways to improve care, planning, and funding of services.

I have a background in health data science and health economics, with experience analysing linked health data in Australia. I am interested in using data to support more equitable and inclusive healthcare systems.

Something interesting about me is that I enjoy building model kits and taking street photography in my spare time.
