The First Nations Advisory Committee (FNAC) is a group of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are passionate about healthcare for people with intellectual disability.
The FNAC gives the Centre advice about:
- The best way to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with intellectual disability.
- How to make sure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with intellectual disability, their families, and their communities have a voice at the Centre.
- Figuring out what work the Centre might need to do in the future, so that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with intellectual disability can get good healthcare in Australia.
