My name is Christine, and I’m a member of the National Advisory Committee for the Centre.

I am the Director of the Living with Disability Research Centre at La Trobe University in Melbourne. I do research about good support practice. I turn this research into training for support workers.

I am the president of an organisation called the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID). ASID publishes journals and runs conferences. I want to ensure that professionals and support workers use research to improve practice.
