The National Advisory Committee (NAC) is a group of experts in health and intellectual disability from all over Australia.

The NAC gives the Centre advice about:

• the best ways to improve the healthcare system for people with intellectual disability in Australia
• figuring out what work the Centre might need to do in the future, so that people with intellectual disability can get good quality health care in Australia.
