Liz Convery
Hello, I am Liz.
I am the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Disability Studies.
We call it CDS for short.
CDS is one of the Centre consortium members.
At CDS, I lead a great team of people who are all passionate about improving the lives of people with intellectual disability.
At the Centre, my team works on practical issues such as inclusive research, the health priorities of people with intellectual disability, and improving access to health services.
My background is in allied health. I worked as an audiologist before I moved into research. I am especially interested in ways to help people with intellectual disability live happy and healthy lives in older age.
I live in Sydney. I like yoga and bushwalking.
