Meeting with key members of the Territory's Health and Disability organisations - 6 October 2025

While in Darwin, Julia met with key members of the Territory's Health and Disability organisations. Many issues were raised, including:

  • Better training and resources for health care professionals
  • Improvements in acute care and coordination
  • The need to attract and retain more health and allied health professionals to the Territory
  • Culturally safe and inclusive outreach to First Nations People and Communities


Workshop - 6 October 2025

Our second Community Connections Tour workshop was held in Darwin on 6 October. Participants shared their thoughts on health care in their local community and highlighted the importance of being listened to. The workshop was expertly co-facilitated by Inclusion Northern Territory team member, Ben.
